CZW Decisions was a decent PPV. It has a few stand out matches but is held back by some generic matches that don’t feel too important.
Joe Gacy (c) vs Lio Rush for the CZW World Heavyweight belt. This was a solid kick off the night. Lio Rush always performs well and his dark character in CZW works. A bit on the slower side in moments though however.
Greg Excellent (w/Chrissy Rivera) vs Alexander James & Tony Deppen vs Rickey Shane Page & Scorpio Sky (c) vs David Starr.
These are all blended into the same mini review. While none of these are bad matches they just aren’t stand out by any means. Each has a few decent spots but other than that they feel ultimately lacking for a PPV.
Joey Janela vs Nate Webb.
This match almost falls into the same category. This is a solid match though can get a little slow. The few bigger spots at the end though save it.
Drew Blood vs Danny Havoc “Pit Of Thumbtacks” match.
This was a good deathmatch. Could of honestly used more thumbtacks however.
Cataclysm Of Barbed Wire Match
Matt Tremont vs Jeff Cannonball
This was a great deathmatch. Each man bled a great amount. They fought both in and out of the ring showing great use of the barbed wire as well.
CZW Tag Team Title TLC Four Way Match
Scarlet And Graves (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz) (c) vs EYFBO (Angel Ortiz & Mike Draztik) vs The Dub Boys (Dave McCall & Nate Carter) vs Kyle The Beast & Monsta Mack
Match of the night by far. This was a great example of how to do a tag match, ladder match, hardcore match, all rolled into one. All teams had their moments to shine and were able to showcase their spots. The team of Scarlet and Graves really comes across as being a very versatile team here as well and it was good to see Dezmond Xavier taking some more extreme bumps in this match.
Overall the only real standouts are the final 3 matches, two of which are just fun death matches. The rest of the matches just aren’t great enough to feel valid on a PPV.
