Black Panther upon release blew up with constant news updates on how well it was doing for a multitude of reasons. Now while it is a good Marvel film, sadly Black Panther suffers from a few things that hold it back from being in that top tier of superhero films.

Another great kickoff into another Marvel series this time being Avengers Assemble.
The story revolves around the Avengers facing off against Zodiac. It doesn’t dwell much into the enemy but sets it up enough to get you to want to read more and learn about them. The biggest point for this story is showcasing the Avengers in this issue. You see Captain America, Hawkeye, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, and Black Widow. It is odd though while in a panel where the Avengers are in their building you do see other Avengers who other than that one panel aren’t featured or talked about in the issue.
What this issue does best though is showcasing the exact same characteristics of each character just as the movies have. Captain America is the hero, the man who is the voice for the people while Iron Man is the cocky eccentric billionaire. Hawkeye and Black Widow have their back and forth snaps with each other while Thor still has his godly mentality and small sense of humor.
Overall though it’s just great start to the series, a easy read, and if the series continues like this we are all in for something great.
