WWE Greatest Stars Of The 21st Century – Wrestling DVD Review
Release Date : July 26th, 2011
Wrestlers featured on DVD :
Decade of the Divas
Stone Cold Steve Austin
Going into this I had low expectations. Its a short dvd and their idea of the 21st century is 2000-2009. The dvd just came out too so I have no idea why 2010 isn’t on there. Also unless the wrestler was a huge name or a champion they get no mention in this. Their greatest wrestlers are all just the big money makers. Another funny thing is a good amount of these guys also appeared on their “Greatest Wrestlers Of The 90’s” DVD so only some of the people in this were just from the 21st Century. It’s also funny watching this knowing that a good amount of the wrestlers on here either don’t wrestler anymore, have moved to a different promotion, or work behind curtains for WWE (Triple HHH). Overall though it isn’t a bad watch its just a lot of stuff they’ve already shown and really seems to be just a quick money maker.
From IMDB : A writer who is brutalized during her cabin retreat seeks revenge on her attackers, who left her for dead.
Review: Following the trend of remakes they decided to remake I Spit On Your Grave. For those who don’t know this is really another version of Last House On The Left. Lady moves into house and has a bad run in with some guys. Later on they break into her house and torture her then rapre her. Somehow though right before they kill her she escapes and starts torturing them one by one. The rape scene is disturbing and might actually be worse than the one featured in Last House On The Left. The torture scenes are also quite disturbing featuring some quite creative deaths that I haven’t seen before in other movies. Overall though you really feel for her throughout the movie and can’t help but feel happy when she’s extracting her revenge. Its not a happy movie at all but the acting is done great enough that you really get to like her.
Although the movie is not for kids at all and actually carries a Unrated (NC-17) rating while it was in theaters. If your a fan of horror movies though and are in the mood for some gruesome deaths I strongly recommend this.
