Review :

A good, funny, and interestingly done animated film for once.

The story follows two turkeys who travel back before the first Thanksgiving to make it where Turkeys are no longer a food on the menu. The concept is interesting and new to say the least. Once they introduce the time machine named S.T.E.V.E. the scenes are hysterical. Surprisingly the humor is this film actually hits most times. There is a wide range of jokes added for all ages and types of people. I did find myself noticing however that i laughed more than some kids watching it. References to other films and jokes are thrown in with the best one being a line referencing Cheech And Chong.

Animation wise the film looks great. Scenes are greatly detailed and the entire film is bright and colorful. In all star cast including Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson, Amy Poehler, George Takei, and Keith David make it where every voice is well known. No one star steals the show (though Takei gets close to it).

In short, its a good well done animated film. Kids will love it as will adults though for different reasons. Just don’t be surprised if you find yourself laughing more than the kids do.
