Review :

WWE continues their Marine series with another addition this time staring WWE star “The Miz” and making it straight to DVD. Surprising though is the fact that this ends up being a good action movie.

We do end up with a pretty straightforward story following a marine who travels home for his break back to his old town. He see’s his family, friends, and soon enough trying to hold of everything gets in some trouble. Soon though his sister and her boyfriend see a murder and are captured by extreme radical group. Afterwards after Miz kills two of their men in the woods looking for his sister he is pulled aside by the FBI saying that he can’t go after he because they want the leader and don’t care about rescuing the kids as first priority. Soon after Miz just goes as a one man wrecking team into the place. Nothing new for the story and it really just follows enough to pace you through.

What makes this movie good though is the action scenes. Miz plays the character of a action star well even with some corny dialog. The action is your standard shoot out mixed with some hand to hand scenes. While they may not be anything new they are entertaining though mainly based on Miz’s performance. You do have to not think too far into it as there as some major plot holes in this with the best one being after watching the Miz get beat with a crowbar he still finishes everyone off and walks off like nothing happens.

Overall it’s a good movie to watch and not think about. Worth a rental for sure.
