Night of the Living Dead 3D: Re-Animation (2012) Movie Review
Released : Oct. 2nd, 2012

Genre : Horror
Story (from IMDB) :
After inheriting the family mortuary, a pyrophobic mortician accidentally exposes hundreds of un-cremated bodies to toxic medical waste.
What a waste of time. What a horrible excuse for a horrible movie.
The story itself is about as un horror movie as you can get. You really just get a man at a mortuary who starts messing and trying to bring the dead back. That’s what it boils down to. Now add a lame part where the brother gets involved and tries to reason with him, then you have the group of workers who are all forgettable. There is one character I remembered most was the goth girl who had the necrophilia scene. Yes there is a scene that involves her and a corpse. While it is not graphic too much it still is odd and very uncalled for. Every other character is like I said forgettable and horribly acted.
Now the pacing for this is horrendous. The majority of the movie sees no zombies at all. You get slow dialog scenes that lead to nothing. When you finally do see a zombie it is just comical. The makeup is horrible. I mean they barely look different and the few that do are so horrible overdone with special effects that you can’t help but laugh. Best part is though when they start to fire a gun. You hear the noise, then a few seconds later you see the kickback, then 5 seconds later you finally see the bullet hit. Everything seems to be a few seconds off of each other.
I think the box art is deceiving as well. At no point is there that many zombies on screen at all. Also there is no city in flames or city in ruins at all.
Overall the only thing that gets this from getting a 0 is that the zombie scenes are laughably bad. The ending is just stupid, plain and simple. I can’t state enough times to avoid this,
