Big Mommas House : Like Father, Like Son (2011) Movie Review
Released : Feb. 18th, 2011

Genre : Comedy
Story (from IMDB) :
FBI agent Malcolm Turner and his stepson Trent go undercover at an all-girls performing arts school after Trent witnesses a murder.
This is a clear case of just making a movie to make money. Now the first two films in this series were by no means great movies but they had their enjoyable parts and laughs. This one pretty much just rehashes a lot of that stuff just without all the laughs.
This one follows a simple story where Malcolm’s stepson sees a murder and then they have to go undercover to find evidence to put the generic bad guys away. Now with all this happening the main focus should be the humor but there isn’t. Replace humor with a good amount of scenes involving singing and dancing. This movie could be called Big Momma’s House The Musical.
I found myself laughing at this movie more than laughing with the jokes. Most jokes are done in the previous movies and now there isn’t much you can do in the big momma suit that would still be funny or original.
Without really wanting to talk about it too much this movie doesn’t do much right. It is by far the worst of the series and will hopefully put the nail in Big Mommas coffin. They streched their limit with these movies and have done all that could be done.
