Katy Perry Part Of Me “The Movie” (2012) Movie Review
Released : July 5th, 2012
Reviewed : Sept. 27th, 2012
Genre : Documentary / Kids
Story (from IMDB) :
A documentary that chronicles Katy Perry’s life on and off-stage.
I really do watch any movie I noticed. This would be one of the odd ball movies I just had to see. Mainly because Katy Perry is really attractive and for the most part her music is somewhat catchy.
Now this movie was actually somewhat like I expected. Quite a lot concert footage showing Katy’s over the top stage show. She has some weird stuff happen on stage for it being aimed towards younger children. You also have interviews with everyone who would stop and talk about how great Katy Perry is and how everything she does it golden. Yet for the most part the one person who they don’t give enough interview time to just talk about her life is Katy Perry. It mainly is just everyone else but her. Would have been nicer to show more interview with the person the movie is based around.
It was nice though to see her charity work and the stuff she does to really give the kids who come to her show something to remember. I also found the part of the movie where they show the whole news about her divorce to be interesting based off the fact that it all seemed to happen right before she went on stage so you see her just have a huge breakdown before the show and sometimes during the show.
Overall it’s a short review but there really isn’t too much to say about this movie unless you are a diehard fan of her. It’s decent enough to watch once and might hold your entertainment but after one watch you won’t ever want to see it again.
