Review :

A movie in which I didn’t really know what to expect or if I would even enjoy it going into it shocked me at the end by how much I truly enjoyed it. One of this summers biggest heart racing action movies I’ve seen yet.

Now the story itself is simple enough that it works in the films favor. They give enough back story and flashbacks to truly explain everything without trying to make the story bigger than it should be. This also explains why Joseph Gordon-Levitt has become of my favorite newer actors. He plays his role perfectly and makes it where you can tell that he is enjoying himself. He also for many scenes almost carries the film by himself.

Now action wise this movie nails it. They don’t bother with insane special effects or really violence at all except for one brief second scene. The movie have amazing biking sequences with are easily heart racing scenes. Also the scenes that has Joseph Gordon-Levitt showing the different plots and outcomes of his routes was one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a movie recently. They also tended to be quite funny and almost shocking.

Overall though it is a simple movie but it nails everything it intended to do. It is worth a watch and I plan on seeing it again on DVD. Very worth it.
