Genre : Horror
Story (from IMDB) :
A group of high school outcasts get revenge on the students that torment them.
A halfway decent torture film. I say halfway decent because a large majority of those films are garbage. This one takes the story of a the bullied kids in school torturing the kids that pick on them.
While not a truly original concept that one at least keeps the pacing going so the film doesn’t drag. One of the better concepts of the movie is that they make everyone watch them torture one another so you don’t have the slower moments of they cutting from person to person. Though since this film isn’t really gory a lot of the violence is just build up. It does have its violence though and some of it is actually quite cool. The best of them being the ones that involve the chemical solutions.
Character wise none of them are really too likeable and they all are extremely generic. Also the costumes the bullied kids pick out to wear at first are horrible. I did enjoy the one kid that thought it’d be cool to dress like Marilyn Manson in 1999 though. They also all acted ridiculous too, especially the main kid that thought he was top gun. A little too much over acting but that was to be expected.
The ending of this movie was as to be expected, not even a big shock. The plot holes though did puzzle me like the fact that they had people guarding the building they were doing this in. It wasn’t the main kids though and they stated throughout the whole film on how it was just between them. Yet they had random people guarding it. May just be me though that thought about it.
Overall though it may be generic but it keeps you entertained and has a few good scenes. Worth a view.
