I really was looking forward to watching this. The previews made it look like a better version of the first one with more action and crazy moments. Sadly I wish I wouldn’t have watched it. This film (only than being about Ghost Rider and having Nic Cage in it) stands no relation to the first movie at all. They are completely different stories. This one has Ghost Rider hiding out in Europe and having to stop the devil from taking human form and ruling. The devil needs a kid though so the movie revolves around every fighting for the kid. This film really doesn’t have enough action though. Even the end “Battle” for the most part is anti-climatic. It never really peaks as a film. They attempt to add many scenes in the film that would draw off the emotion card yet Nic Cage can’t do emotions (he might not have any) so you never really feel the connection. The FX effects though are at times quite nicely done yet again there are many scenes that are done so badly that it’s perfectly clear that it is all computer done. Overall this movie really doesn’t have anything right other than a few tiny things. Not really anything great overall.
