Review :

Oh how one enjoys colorful movies. I mean the film doesn’t even have to be good as long as it’s pretty. And this movie is very pretty (also very good but why does that matter). The Lorax is the latest Dr.Suess book turned into kids film and this one carries a very strong message. I mean almost to the point where they are jamming their message about the environment down our throats. Like previously said though it’s a very pretty movie. Onto that, the animation is very well done. They made it bright and colorful to catch everyone’s attention and the creatures are to say the least : adorable (and this is coming from a tough guy metal head haha). During the movie there is the occasional music number which I feel is added nicely and the songs are neither boring or drag on. The cast list is also great featuring such voices as Taylor Swift, Ed Heims, and the great Betty White. Now not being a huge 3D fan the 3D was decent enough for the film. Nothing really pops out but it gives the film that circular view. Personally it really surprised me how much I enjoyed it even if it really is just a fancy environmentalists film. Overall it is a must see.

8.5/10
