Story (from Netflix) :
With the release of “A Night at the Opera” in 1975, Queen catapulted into the rock ‘n’ roll mainstream and broke new ground with the wildly inventive single “Bohemian Rhapsody.” This installment of the Classic Albums series examines the creative process behind the landmark recording, featuring interviews with late singer Freddie Mercury, guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor and the album’s original producer, Roy Thomas Baker.
I never once imagined how much back story there was to this legendary album. This documentary features interviews from mainly Brian May and Roger Taylor with some older interviews with the great Freddie Mercury. John Deacon is not on this dvd though since he doesn’t really want anything to do with the business anymore. This documentary which really breaks down the album song for song and goes into the story and making of it. Also they often break down the harmonys for each song to really showcase the raw talent everyone in the band has. The movie itself shows some very interesting facts for the song and really how diverse the band was with the sounds they put into each song. Overall it is a must see for Queen fans and music fans in general.
